We are always trying to find real life contexts for our learning at Rowner, it helps to provide meaning and relevance for learners. This week Year 5 have been learning about forces and friction in science. To support this learning they were invited to bring in their bicycles to help them learn about friction when braking, forces being applied to make the bike move and the forces restricting the bikes movement.
