Following their huge fundraising success, Year 3 met with a representative from the Rainbow Trust today. Aware that the children had raised over £1300 in the rainbow fun run, the charity wanted to meet and thank the children in person. Their representative told the children about the difference their monies will make to lots of children and answered an array of questions. Year 3 were delighted to have received a very special certificate and to learn that Rowner’s success story has been shared widely by the charity. The children feel rightly proud of themselves – an awesome achievement.
