Albert loved his LEGO learning with Mr Shaw last term and both were inspired by David Aguilar – a young inventor who built his own prosthetic arm with LEGO. After learning about what David had achieved Albert and his class designed and engineered their own ‘grabbers’. Motivated by Albie’s enthusiasm, Mr Shaw contacted David Aguilar who sent Albie a message and a copy of his book. Raising Robots kindly gifted Albie some LEGO which Albie intends to use, inspired by David Aguilar, to build his own LEGO arm. Both David and Albert are an inspiration. A very special day for Albert. We were delighted that Albert’s Dad joined us for the presentation – Albert was very surprised to see him in school.
