Year 5 are focusing on abstract art this half term. Previously, they researched the artist Hundertwasser and found out about techniques used in abstract art. In their last lesson they created their own designs using their knowledge and in yesterday’s lesson transferred one of their designs on to a monoprint tile. They then practised using the paint rollers and tiles to make a repeated abstract pattern. Amazing creativity year 5!
