Today, the children and adults shone brightly in their vivid, fluorescent clothing. We were raising awareness for ‘being bright and being seen’ in order to keep safe now the evenings are darker. In the morning, Miss Daly led an assembly alongside our two JRSOs (Junior Road Safety Officers) highlighting the importance of this. The children watched some video clips and looked at pictures showing how effective fluorescent clothing and accessories are and found out about ways to keep themselves safe in the dark! For those of you celebrating Christmas or with a birthday coming up, some ‘glo’ gifts could be really useful at this time of year.
