Rowner Junior held their Christingle Service yesterday at the Rowner church the St Mary the Virgin. The service was led by the Rev. Jude. The children sang superbly and were wonderfully behaved. There was not one complaint from the children following the downpour of rain during the walk to the church. Mrs Mulhall gave a talk that was linked to the ‘light’ in our community and linked to our learning around kindness. Four of our children read a prayer and our homemade Christingles looked beautiful when lit – the most special part of the service. Team Rowner donated a food hamper for the church community pantry. With thanks to all of the families who joined us – we were so pleased to see you. This is a lovely eventand is fimrly on the Year 4 calendar.
