We received our Bronze Modeshift Stars accreditation earlier this academic year. We were awarded this because of our efforts in increasing the levels of walking, cycling, scooting and other sustainable modes of travel. Over the past year we have taken part in many events and activities linked to active travel including Dr Bike, Y6 transition rides, Leg it to Lapland, Big Walk and Wheel, Be Bright Be Seen Day and many more. The children are very aware of the importance of traveling actively where possible and know that it is beneficial for their health as well as the planet! We are now aiming for the Silver level accreditation.
