‘British Science Week’ is a ten-day celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths – taking place between 8th and 17th March 2024. At Rowner Junior School, we celebrated by having our own Science Day. Throughout the morning, some of us completed some Science-based reading tasks or looked at how we can link Science to maths. This afternoon, we all completed some STEM challenges and tasks with different teachers – this was fun! Some of the activities that took place included: launching rocket mice, making non-newtonian fluids, creating fizzy bottle rockets and making lava lamps. We enjoyed our science learning and developed and applied our scientific knowledge and skills.
