Year 5 have been writing speeches in their most recent English unit. They spent time researching the threats to the polar regions and used persuasive features and Year 5 ‘sentence types’ to write a script informing the audience about the dangers and what humans can do to help look after these important areas. After this, they made Google slideshow presentations with pictures to match their script. Today, some of the children very bravely performed their speeches in front of their class. They demonstrated amazing leadership and speaking skills. Well done Year 5!
