Year 5 are learning about forces in their current science unit. In their lesson on Monday, they found out the difference between weight and mass and learned more about the effect that gravity has on us. The children then used forcemeters to measure the forces acting on various objects in the classroom. They had to measure accurately by looking carefully at the scale to identify the amount of newtons. We were very impressed with their problem-solving skills!
