Today, HCC notified Year 2 families by e-mail of school places for September 2024 and by post tomorrow. Team Rowner are really looking forward to getting to know our new families and are delighted that there are familiar faces in the cohort too. We are aware that transition can be a daunting experience for any child, regardless of age, so we work hard to ensure that the experience is as smooth as possible. Our whole Admissions process is online. Ahead of sharing information about our online ‘portal’ we will send a letter to each Y2 family (in bookbags if at Rowner Infant School and by post if attending from another infant school). We endeavour to be in touch with our families by the end of the month, highlighting how we will support your child with their transition to Rowner Junior School (soon to be King’s Academy Rowner) and to provide you with necessary and relevant information. Ahead of then, please visit our transition page – we have a few updates to make e.g. we have yet to confirm our year group teaching team.
